Hello! My name is Debra and I have recently moved to Southern California from the Southern tip of Texas. I am currently looking to work as a nanny in your home to care for your children. Although short on experience in working/caring for children privately -I have 10 years of experience working in the public school system back. I've worked with average developing children as well as children with special needs. I have experience working with children ages 3 to 17 years. I also have worked for the state as a child care licensing representative and child protective services case worker for about 6 years combined. I have a bachelors degree in Psychology and a Masters degree in Education. I also have a 3-year-old niece whom I've cared for and absolutely adore. I love children and feel they are our future. I believe in providing them with a nurturing environment where they can thrive socially and educationally. I also feel children need to have an immense amount of exposure to their surroundings to build background knowledge and gain life long experiences. This in turn will assist them to thrive within society and an academic environment. I look forward to meeting with you and your family.
