3) Owner operated my motel and three beach houses for 8 years, Windjammer Motel, N. Myrtle Beach, SC, from 1992-2000. (It is now Atlantis Villas, 817 S. Ocean Blvd., N. Myrtle Beach, SC, with 10 6 bedroom units and two 8 bedroom units which are all individually owned. I own and manage Unit 205, a 6 bedroom oceanfront unit and Unit 302, an 8 bedroom ocean view unit under Windjammer Properties.) We met a lot a families and took care of so many children!
4) I gained further experience at the SportsZone in Little River, SC (5/2008 - 9/2009)I handled marketing, networking, website updates, accounts receivable/payable & "worked" all aspects of the front desk. In addition, I planned and ran the childrens' activities.
Childcare Experience
At the SportsZone, I booked and set up birthday parties, family reunions, group drop-ins, etc.
I cared for and played with the children partaking in the various programs involving sports, birthday/holiday parties, arts and crafts. I also took care of the children attending the After School Program, School Zout, Parents' Night Out, special events and Summer Camp. This included homework assistance when needed and food preparation. I volunteered as a Girl Scout Troop Leader and CYO youth group moderator. Currently I care for my 2-year-old Grandson for approximately 45 "awake" hours per week. We go to story times at the library, the Sarasota Children's Garden, local parks, Busch Gardens, Sea World and the beach. He will be starting preschool in April when he turns 3 years old. I raised a daughter and a son who are both in their thirties and have children of their own. They were very active in school activities, sports and church.
I am very dedicated to providing outstanding child care. I'm highly motivated, creative and capable of multi-tasking. I am very responsible and will work flexible hours. I love to work with toddlers on up to tweens.
