I live here in Citra, Florida. I am passionate about caring for children. I feel they are our future and they deserve the best possible start in life to grow and thrive into the best possible people they can become. I believe it's important for children to learn as much as possible about the world around them through play and skills of daily living (sdl). I have been caring for children newborn to 17 years of age, since January 1, 1997 as well as my own child since 1995,(But my specialty is under 8). I have a certificate (32 hours) for a mental health tech and one for dealing with difficult children (6 hours) as well as high school and college diplomas. I do NOT SMOKE. I do not have a car, so I would like to care for children in my home. I have cared for children in the home, at church, in daycare as well as a hospital setting. I will send home an "activity sheet" letting you know how your children are doing while in my care. I would even care for them if they are sick.
