I have made a career out of loving kids! I have two wonderful, grown children and have a great deal of experience with every age group from infant to school-age. I also owned, operated, and maintained a home daycare/preschool for over 17 years - first in Lombard, then in Naperville. For the past 9 years, I have been a professional nanny for 4 different families and loved every minute of it. Sadly, my current position will end in August as their youngest will be in school full time.

Some of the activities I enjoy sharing with children are: theme weeks, outings to parks and museums, messy science projects, and the library passport program, just to name a few. My philosophy in working with children is learning through play, with heavy emphasis on developing the whole child. Everyday is a new learning experience with an opportunity to develop your child's individual strengths and weaknesses.

I am looking forward to my next long-term commitment. There is no greater joy than to delight in a child's accomplishments as you watch them grow and know you have done your job well.
