I have watched children on and off since I was in high school. I think being around children, including my own, keeps me young. In some ways it helps me to relive my childhood. I am a mother of 3, 5-year-old twin girls and a 13-year-old boy, so I am very familiar with most age ranges and multiples. I am currently in the Occupational Therapy Assistant program at Sinclair Community College and hope to work with disabled children when I receive my degree. I decided to resign from my job as a police/fire dispatcher of 10 years to pursue my degree. Through my employment as a dispatcher, I was trained in CPR and first aid. I am very patient and have been told that I am very creative, which helps when dealing with children! As a working mother for many years, I was very blessed to find a wonderful caregiver for my children. Keeping that in mind, I know the importance of having someone that you completely trust and are able to rely on.
