Hi parents! I am an in home childcare provider who has provided childcare for 12 years in the Virginia Beach area. I have provided care for infants and watched them grow. I still have a relationship with these children and their families. To me childcare is much more than me just watching your children. I provide you with a loving, structured, routine, and a reliable atmosphere for you and your child/children. My home is clean and smoke free. I have a fenced in yard and a separate area for our outside playtime. I do have dogs but they are kept outside during childcare hours. I have a daycare room which is set up for your child's daily development. I attended Ohio University and Grossmont College for Child Development. Our daily activities include: reading time, music time, art time, play, outside time, nap time, meals and snacks, and puzzles. Using our small and large motor skills are incorporated into everything I do with your child/children. Daily praise and encouraging words are what I believe in. I provide my parents with a contract and an updated holiday schedule for a year in advance. I'm proud to say that I have never called off on my parents in the 12 years that I've provided childcare. This is the reason for my holiday schedule being a year in advance. This is to ensure that I provide you with the most reliable service I can provide.
I'm prior military with an Honorable Discharge. I do understand the need for overnight care for duty days and early morning PT. I am open from 6 a.m.-6 p.m. (With prior notice I can do earlier and overnight care Monday-Thursday). I'm also available for before/after school care for Pembroke Elementary.
