I am currently working for an 8-month-old, however, that job will be ending in late July, beginning of Aug. working until 3:30 M, T, Th, Fr, and 4:15 on Weds in Forney, and would be available after those hours.
I am very passionate about children! My mom did daycare for about 14 years in our home and I helped a lot with that. I also had many babysitting jobs, as well as been a nanny for a few different families....

I am very passionate about children! My mom did daycare for about 14 years in our home and I helped a lot with that. I also had many babysitting jobs, as well as been a nanny for a few different families. I have worked in a daycare, where I quit due to them having me in a room of 32, 3-5-year-old children, by myself. My heart is to engage with your child, focus on your child, be a part in teaching your child in fun and creative ways! I want you to know that your child is in a great and safe environment. I enjoy doing vocabulary, colors, books numbers, art, music, exercise, games, indoor/outdoor fun, parks, going out ( if parents are comfortable with traveling). I have gone to school for children and family ministry at a Christian school in Dallas, where we also took classes about children development, etc. I have also lived in the Philippines working with street children. I traveled to many countries and worked with orphanages, and helped out in the children's department of my church (currently working in the 2-year-old class). I have also had experience with care for someone who had Muscular Dystrophy, but she was wasn't a child. She was 25 at the time. My sister is also involved with doing adoption and foster care, so she has 6 children. At one time, they had 4 little ones in diapers, who I also would babysit while they did date nights, etc. I have helped many friends during their transition of new parenting, and have often been called the baby whisperer by different moms!
My ideal family would be a family that doesn't look to the nanny to raise their child, but knows that my heart is partner with them in raising their child with great values, creativity, and in a safe environment. I would love to be considered part of your family, and am also looking for something that is long term.
I look forward to hearing from you, and wish you the best in your search!
