In 2006 I worked for School District #719, in Prior Lake, MN. I worked in the am/pm shift (before & after school program, called KIDS COMPANY). I did this for a year. I worked with kids of all ages. Teaching social skills, helping with homework, recreational activities. I communicated with parents, teachers, staff and the children. I also volunteered in this school district, grades 2nd & 3rd, for a number of years. Helping in the class room, with whatever was needed; reading, paperwork, supervising. I raised my own son, who is now 18, through the course of the years, too! The ISD#719, paid for me to attend some workshops at Concordia University, MPLS. MN. Some were Behavioral Guide Dance, Teaching Social Skills, Hands on Science. All of which I received certificates of completion for.
