I am 27-year-old graduate of Ohio University with a degree in Integrated Mathematics (which is fancy for math teacher grades 7-12). After graduating I became an instant mother to 4 children that my husband had from a previous marriage. They are now 16, 15, 13, and 8, and I love them more than my words can express. My husband and I have recently added one more to the bunch who is now 8 months old. With this new addition I have decided to become a stay at home mom. However, as one can imagine having 5 children isn't cheap, and this is why I am looking to earn some extra income by caring for children. As a mother, caring for the daily needs of children ranging from 8 months- 16 years of age for the past 4 almost 5 years I can say that my experience in child care is extensive. I wear the many hats of motherhood daily from taxi driver, chef, tutor, counselor, housekeeper, nurse and as any parent knows the lists goes on and on. The ideal position for me would be a daytime position ending at or before 5 p.m. in which I could bring my youngest son along with me.
