I am 18 and I attend college. It is my first year and I am hoping to transfer in 2 years to pursue nursing. I have a lot of experience when it comes to caring and looking after kids. I have been babysitting since I was 14 years old and I find that it really fits me good for a job. I also have taken a babysitting/first aid class so I feel like I am prepared if anything were to happen while I was watching your kids. I babysit for a couple of my neighbors and some other people I know whenever they go out or need someone to watch their kids. The age range has been anywhere between 2 and 12. While babysitting, I like to bring fun games and toys for the kids to play with so it isn't just the ordinary things they do everyday. It makes it fun for them to have something new to do. I am really good at playing with the kids and connecting with them on their level. If they want me to play house, make a fort, or play tag, I will. Babysitting is about watching and giving the kids something to do, not to just sit and let them do their own thing. I have also been a part of a club at my church where I go and interact with young children once a week ever since freshman year. Kids bring so much joy in their innocence and creativity and I would love to be a part of that if you ever need someone very responsible to take care of your kids! I know it takes a lot of trust to allow someone else to be responsible for the ones you love so much especially because my own parents went through tons of background checks when it came to babysitters for me. If it helps, I am an A and B student (3.7 GPA), an athlete, and actively participate in my church outreaches.
