My name is Danielle and I am a 24-year-old graduate from Columbia College Chicago with a BA in Cultural and Critical Studies and am moving back to Pittsburgh (my hometown) while I save money, apply and study for graduate school where I will continue my work on social justice and rhetoric. I have babysat unprofessionally for non-family members since I was 12 and have been caring for children my whole life (big, Italian family). Professionally I have taught at summer camps and acted as artistic coordinator at college of music and graduate school where music, acting and dance are explored with kids ranging from age 7-15. I have taken courses in Children's Literature and Children's Psychology and am very musical and love singing and writing songs with kids! I am very comfortable around children and truly find them inspiring and refreshing to spend time with as there is so much you can learn and nourish in yourself from children. Personally, I love to read and write, collect vinyl records and record players and cook. I am a non-smoker.
