I've been a nanny for around 5 years and I love it! I started when I was 18 when I watched a 6-month-old baby as a live-in nanny. I was there for almost a year. I also would baby sit Friday evenings for two children, aged 4 and 8. Most of the time there were 6 children to watch as they normally had friends over - we had a lots of fun!
Then I started cleaning for Royal Maid Service for two years and did a few different nanny jobs at the weekend (as referenced in my Resume).
I started at my current Nanny job almost two and a half years ago which is looking after four children aged 5 and triplets who are 3.5. I love this family very much and have been very happy and grown close to the children, but the triplets will be going to school in august for 4 days a week and my hours will be reduced considerably - so I am looking to start work with a new family, any time from now.
Now a little about myself. I'm a very out going person, friendly and kind. I am told I have a very natural way with children. I am 23 years old, married and very mature for my age. I have been married for just over a year now - my husband and I have been together for 6 years and have no children. I was educated in England, where I gained 8 GSCE qualifications and a JSLA (Junior Sports Leadership Award) Diploma. I moved here when I was 17 with my family, so I guess you could call me a Brit!
Last of all, I love being a nanny and will do all I can to make children and parents happy, by way of playing, nurturing, educating, disciplining and loving the children I care for.
I never call off sick and am a very punctual person. I have no problem with helping with homework, any kind of house keeping is fine, also laundry and cooking dinner. I am used to doing all of the above. I currently cook, clean and do laundry for the family I am with right now.
