I am 27-years-old, active and an experienced nanny/babysitter. I've been working with children for the past 3 years. When I work with children, I don't consider it just a job! All the children that I babysat before were like family to me and they feel the same about me. I want the children that I take care of to be happy, so I'm always trying to make the day fun, but at the same time I want to be part of their education and I'm always trying to teach them good manners. I think discipline is a very important factor in the children's education, and I am always doing my best to follow the parents' rules for discipline and combine this with fun too. I love the outdoors a lot. I am a very active person, and this is why I think that a nanny/babysitting job fits me because it would surely keep me busy and active. The most challenging part in a nanny's job is to make that child listen, be respectful and at the same time have a fun day. This is what makes a good nanny. The most rewarding part about a nanny's job is the smile that a baby gives you, the hugs that you always get and that at the end of the day, the child and parent tell you "thank you for today." There is no bigger reward at the end of the day than knowing that your child is happy to have me as a nanny. I am more interested in a part-time job (a few days a week).
