Hello, my name is Dana. I am a responsible, mature, but fun-loving college student. I am studying to become a Business Administrator, however I have extensive experience in child care. On a personal level, I am the eldest of two siblings. Being that my mother is an ICU nurse, I spent an extensive amount of time as my brother and sister's caregiver. Many times I was responsible for not only my siblings but also their classmates and friends. After returning home from college, I took a job as a daycare teacher at Shabach Christian Daycare in Landover, Md. While there, I was responsible for feeding, changing, diapering, and entertaining several children at a time, ages infans to 5 years old. I have experience with ALL age groups, from infants to teenagers. I attend to a diversity of children and families. This makes me very comfortable in homes of all types of cultures, backgrounds, and family structures. Whether it be consistent nanny work, overnight care, before and after care, or babysitting for a night out for parents, I have constantly been called on by neighbors, family friends, and parents of all types to care for their children. I am often complimented on the quality of care that I provide to the children and parents I work for. I love pets, can and do walk dogs. Also, I am certified by the American Heart Association in CPR and First Aid, (Heart saver Pediatric First Aid, Heart saver First Aid), and have had a flu shot. I look forward to becoming a dynamic nanny for a great family!
