Because both of my parents worked while I was growing up, I was always in charge of my younger brother and cousins. My mom has many friends with young children whom I have babysat in the past, and I have helped with things such as vacation bible school in my parish community. I was very involved with my church in high school, and have led and directed multiple retreats, camps, and activities with children of all ages. I continue to be involved in Campus Ministry at my school, University of Dayton, which I attend with an academic scholarship. I have also worked at a pediatric office, so I have experience with children that are sick or not in the best mood.
I enjoy what I do mostly because it gives me personal fulfillment to help others and guide them in a healthy direction, and because I am a natural leader and care giver.
