Since taking early childhood ed classes and having worked in
several nursery school/day care center I find children wonderful to work with. Have been a full time caregiver and also a live-in but have also worked commercially (retail and security) Seeing children learn, progress and becoming aware of things around them is a great satisfaction. I treasure a letter sent from a young boy who told me he missed me when his family moved away. He has just finished Tulane law school and I would like to think I encouraged his reading habits when he was in elementary school. I love to read and probably know "Good Night Moon" by heart.

Being outdoors is another favorite activity - playing games, exploring, making children use their imagination is so much more important than knowing how to plug in an electronic device. Time for all that later!

My nanny experience includes a live-in job for a single parent
and several jobs as a day nanny. I've never minded doing light housekeeping if children are napping and am proud not to be a t. v./couch potato!
