I have been teaching children for many years, inside and outside a classroom, to my own 3 children and in my art and sewing studio. Currently, I am teaching an after school sewing program to kids 7 and up and doing part-time childcare. Last year, I co-taught Kindergarten, and have been a teacher's assistant for 2nd and 3rd grades, 4th grade, and have taught 6th/7th/8th graders costume and set design, yearbook design, and arts and crafts at an academy. I have directed a Vacation Bible School and taught 2nd grade Sunday school. I have taught an after school program at a school, assisted in preschool, and taught a mural painting exploratory classes for kids. I am also a court appointed special advocate where the court assigns me a foster child to spend time to understand their physical, medical and educational needs and advocate for them in court. I married young, raised my three daughters as a young mother and now enjoy my three granddaughters as a young grandmother. I love to be creative, to be silly, to laugh. I am looking for a position that can keep me busy. I am certified in CPR.
