I am an experienced full time, live out nanny. Since 1986 I have been with 5 families, each for 2-10 years, and each family had multiple children. For each family, I worked Monday through Friday at the family's home. Most of these hired me when the first child was a few months old and I stayed until the youngest child was in school full time. I generally prepare the children's meals during the day, do their laundry, take them to activities (soccer, ballet, the park or a museum, to meet their mom for lunch, etc.).

From 2002 - present I have been with a family with 2 girls.
(Note that for the first year+ with this family while they only had one girl, a friend of theirs also brought her baby son over and I kept both of them as infants until they each had a 2nd child and then I stayed with one of the two families.)

From 2000-2001 I was with a family with 2 boys (older - close to school age).

From 1991-1999 I was with a family with 2 boys.

I have done babysitting for many of the families on nights and weekends after the kids started school but before they were old enough to stay home alone. I have been close to the families and have gone to many graduations, etc. over the years as the kids grew up.

I went to college for a 2 year certificate in Childcare and I worked at a hospital day care initially. When the hospital closed their day care for employees children in 1985, I went to work for one of the families that had used the day care and had 4 girls. From that time on I have been a private nanny.

(Note on pets: I am fine with cats or outdoor dogs. I prefer not to have indoor dogs.)
