If you are seeking a secure but stimulating nanny experience for your children, look no further, this is something I can provide. I know how to interact with children of all ages, which means listening and communicating. I have been a nanny for many families with children of all ages, worked as a substitute teacher for over 10 years with ages K-12, and raised three children, now on their own. I can work full or part time. With your permission, I would take your children on adventures to the park, a stroller ride through the neighborhood, zoo, children museum, Roper Mt. Science Center, your community pool, etc. I could provide a fun filled day in their home with art, music, creating plays, drawing pictures of a story we have read, as well as playing outside, walks around the neighborhood, or riding bikes, all while keeping them on a schedule. I enjoy caring for children because each day is a new experience.
I am single with no childcare responsibility and can be very flexible with days, evening, overnights and time in general. I do require a four-hour minimum each time I come to the home due to the price of gas these days. Pay is negotiable. I have dependable transportation, a clean criminal background, and drivers license. I was employed by DSS in the Child Abuse and Neglect Unit, a court appointed Guardian ad Litem in contested child custody cases recently, and worked as a flight attendant where I gave CPR at 28, 000 ft. I work well in crisis situations. These experiences have brought me to a new level of being safety conscious around your children. I am also very dependable.
I will give one example of a family with whom I worked and the tasked involved:
During 2010-2011 I worked as a nanny for a physician and her husband caring for three boys. They were 11 months, four and 9 -years-old when I began the job. I provided transportation to activities, assisted with homework, took them to the park, birthday parties, and walks around the neighborhood, transported them to appointments, prepared meals and prepared them for bed. On rainy days we played with arts and made up plays, etc. We had a great time together! I still babysit for the boys today.
I am considered a loving, fun, energetic, nanny who will keep children on a schedule. I would enjoy helping you care for you children. I am open to helping with some household task.
