I am disappointed to say that Crystal is not reliable. She had reached out to me about a job I posted. We talked on the phone and texted and agreed that she would come to my house on a Saturday at noon. Noon rolls around and no Crystal. I call and text her at 12:20 and she does not reply. Very unprofessional. I was really surprised since we had communicated so much. Not even a text back. And I wonder why some people are unemployed. She enlightened me. Do not hire her if you want someone to actually make an effort and show up.

Crystal babysat our 1-year-old son from July 2012 through November 2012. We had a great overall experience with her. The first couple of weeks she was very attentive to our requests/instructions and our Do's and Dont's. We loved the fact that she always listened to our instructions/requests and was always great with our son. It took him a couple of weeks to warm up to her (and that's pretty normal), and by late October he would get very upset when it was time for her to leave. This shows how much he loved her. Crystal took him for a daily walk to the park (sometimes two walks), played with him, danced/sang to him and really kept him engaged and busy. She cared sincerely about him, was always on time and was reasonably flexible with our last minute requests or changes in schedule. Crystal is an honest person and she's naturally and comfortably great with kids. No one is perfect of course, but she responded very well to any small constructive criticism we offered her. They were very few and unimportant anyways. We would highly recommend Crystal and would be glad to talk to any prospective employer who wants more details.
