My first child care job was for my neighbor's 16-month-old son for the summer. My responsibilities included playing with him inside and outside and keeping him entertained and preparing meals for him. I have also held a tutoring job for my first semester of college where I participated in helping a group of 5-7-year-olds finish their homework and keep them entertained with educational activities. My most recent child care job was for a 10-month-old boy and occasionally his 3-year-old sister. I would read and play to the children and I would practice motor skills with the 10-month-old boy. I was also responsible with helping with lunch and snacks and putting them down for naps.
