I am looking for a friendly family who needs a part-time or full-time babysitter.
My experience as a babysitter has been wonderful.
My first experience with babysitting was taking care of a 7 years old boy since he was born, and I basically taught him everything. The biggest challenge was to teach him how to speak, but after a while, watching him talk was my biggest joy! I used to take him to school, ride bikes together, we use to do cultural and educational field trips, read, do homework, and play outside whenever it was possible.
My experience grew when I notice that I have a passion for children. Nowadays, I take care of a 17 months-old boy since he was 2 months-old.
I'm responsible for preparing his meals and organize the kitchen, do the laundry, organize his bedroom, change diapers, bathing, engage him in activities, take him to parks and playgrounds, music class, arts and crafts, read books, put him down for naps and do light housekeeping.
I also take care twice a week of a 18 months-old girl and my duties with her are: prepare her meals, clean and organize her toys, bathing, changing diapers, put her down for naps, engage her in activities, take her outside to play, etc.
I have experience taking care of multiple children at the same time as I used to take care occasionally of three boys (7, 5 and 2).
As my native language is Portuguese I'm able to teach it if required. I can swim, drive, I am very responsible, I'm pet friendly and I love being around children.
Currently I'm looking for a family to work full time as my contract with the family I'm working for (17 months-old boy I mentioned above) is about to end.
