I have babysat for many families in my town since the age of 15. My mother has worked as a nanny herself the past 3 years for 5-year-old twins who have become a very significant part of my life. Before being a nanny herself my mother worked as a special education teacher. I spent much of my time when I was out of school with her and the children she worked with and got an enlightening look at how amazing those children can be. I have always enjoyed taking care of my younger cousins, friends, and the kids I babysat for. I am currently studying Education at the University of Maine Orono to become a teacher. I would love the opportunity to get to know a family the way my mother has and to be a part of the children's life.
