I have been looking after children, on and off for the past 14 years. I first started as a neighborhood babysitter when I was 12 years old and looked after the neighborhood children ranging in age from 1 year to 15 years old. I watched these children grow and was their mentor until I went away to college when I was 18 years old.

The summer before college I was a full-time caregiver (8 a.m.-6 p.m.) to three children- 4 years old, 7 years old and 12 years old. I was responsible for driving them to all activities (including summer school, sports practice and play dates with friends), cooking for them, and ensuring their safety while they were enjoying their summer vacation. I also went away with this family to Martha's Vineyard for their 2 week vacation, during which time I supervised the children at the beach and made sure they were comfortable at all times.

In college, I continued to enjoy babysitting as I looked after one of my professor's children -2 years old. I watched this little girl while her mother wrote a novel and her father was teaching. I watched her approximately 3-5 hours a day during my sophomore year as well as the summer before my junior year.

Since moving to Los Angeles in 2008 I have continued care giving to supplement my income when I had a full-time job. I babysat for my boss's daughter for the past two years- age 12 when I met her, now 14. I have also babysat for my old roommate's brother when he is in need of a night out with his wife. They have 2 kids- ages 4 and 6.

I recently also babysat for my family friend's in Pasadena for three whole weekends, on separate occasions. I watch the two children (9 and 13) from Friday night to Sunday night, when their parents go away for the weekend. I am responsible for cooking, supervising homework and driving them to their activities.

I have enjoyed all my experiences babysitting and care giving to various children throughout the past 14 years and would love to find a great family to support full time, in whatever their care giving needs may be.
