I am looking for a full-time nanny job for this coming Summer 2012. I will graduate from Kent State in May with a BA in Art Education. I can start the first week in May. I have been working with children since I was 10 years old. I and worked for a dance studio as an instructor for two years, teaching 3 to 15-year-olds. I worked for a day care and have been a house and dog sitter for many summers. I was a full-time nanny for two children under 10 for the summer of 2004. I most recently was a full time nanny for the summer of 2009 for two children 8 and 11. During my Kent State education training I worked with children and was teaching in a co-op program, ages 8 to 10. I am a family-oriented person who enjoys working with people to help them achieve their goals. I am from a large family so I enjoy organizing events, directing others, and managing social activities. I am an Art Education major and enjoy drawing and painting. Two years ago I taught an art class at a high school to students with special needs. I also worked with students at a juvenile detention center teaching art. I am student teaching at an elementary school ages kindergarten to third grade and loving it. I've had experience with children through the following positions: dance instructor, tumbling instructor, art teacher, and swimming instructor.
I have my state and federal background check and it will be provided at my interview.
