I have worked for two years at a learning center in Dallas, PA, from 2007-2009. I worked with children ages 16 weeks to 12 years. I was an Outdoor School Overnight Camp Counselor to 5th graders, where I organized and taught about the natural world. I was a counselor at a summer camp for both 3 years old and 6-year-old children. I have also worked a semester of work study with America Reads, promoting literacy while being a teacher's aide in State College. Here, I worked with children from 3-5 years of age, who were both typically developing and special needs children. I enjoy being a vital part of a child's development, and enjoyed teaching them.
