I have always enjoyed being around children, even from an early age. I started baby-sitting when I was 13 years old, and have since watched children as young as 6 months old, and as old as 11. At 17, I started working as a camp counselor. I was employed by this camp for four years, and I primarily worked with children between the ages of 8-12. During my time as a camp counselor, I gained experienced working with children with ADD, as well as Autism. Over the past year, I periodically babysat for a family of four (one 8-year-old, 6-year-old, 3-year-old, and 6-month-old). I have primarily worked as a nanny for one family with a 5-year-old and 9-year-old, and am still working for this family a few days a week. In the fall, I will begin graduate school at LaSalle University to pursue a doctorate degree in clinical psychology. I am moving to Manayunk at the end of August, and looking to work in the Manayunk area.
