I often wonder why children are so necessary to some people and not to others. The kids I care for are the best thing that ever happened to me and even though they can be spoiled rotten at times, I couldn't imagine my life without them. I think it's the unconditional love thing. They don't care if you're mean or nice at the end they're still going to love you. I absolutely love kids because they give you that laughter that the body needs. I've been babysitting since I was 12. First it started out just babysitting for my family, and then it went to friends, co-workers, my neighborhood, and even for a daycare at my church. I've have taken of children aging from infant to 13+. I enjoy babysitting, preparing meals and snacks, cleaning, laundry art and crafts time, spending time outdoors and going to the park, but most of all I enjoy just sitting there having conversations with them because kids will say some of the darnedest things.
