Well for starters, children are my life, literally! I have been watching kids for 12 years now, all ages, ranging anywhere from one to five kids at a time. My boyfriend and I have been living in Rolla for over a year now. I recently accepted a part-time job in child care, but I would still be willing to watch children if our schedules could somehow mesh, so my availability would be easier to find out by messaging me. The previous family that I worked for had two girls. I started with them whenever their youngest was 2 months old and their other daughter was 6. I have watched them for five years; two years straight, and then three summers. Then, I went to college to pursue my degree in human development and family studies with an emphasis on early childhood development, and I was also the captain of my college soccer team for 2 years. While in college, I baby-sat the men's soccer coach's 2-year-old son on my days off. Unfortunately, my boyfriends job moved us away, and I had to say goodbye, but I am looking for another job caring for kids much like I had before. I've formed some great and lasting relationships with the families whose children I have been lucky enough to watch. The reason why I love watching children is because it's always something new every day; it never gets old or boring like a 9:00 to 5:00 job can do sometimes. The laughs and smiles are different everyday, and it's almost not even like a job. It's just fun and you just happen to be paid for it.
