Watching children has been a passion of mine since I was a little girl. I was home schooled grades 9-12, and watching children was my way of learning new things, and sharing my experiences with other families. I had the opportunity to meet great families through the various activities I was involved in, and the jobs started rolling in. June of 2008, I started my first nanny job, Monday-Friday 8-5:30. The children were ages 4, 6, and 9. My responsibilities varied, some days I brought them to sport practices, others to the pool, biking, and outdoor activities. I loved it, and believe it shaped me into the responsible person I am today! September came around, so I only had the kids a few hours a day after school, I loved helping with homework, and teaching them skills, they could use again over and over. That sums up a lot of my nanny requirements for their family. Other than that, I can count over 15 families that I would watch on a regular basis. Starting this past November, I accepted a position as a nanny for newborn twins. It has been an awesome experience. The mother stepped down from working, to spend more time with the kids, so I am not needed as much anymore. I am hoping to find another job just as awesome through this site again!
