I've often been complimented on my ability to connect with the children I'm caring for, having been told many times that I was 'Born to be a Mom'.

I enjoy the liveliness and curiosity of younger children. I've maintained my own youthful energy, while also contributing the maturity and experience of many years of childcare in my personal and professional life to the children I care for.

Besides raising three of my own, I have an extensive professional background providing daycare services as an employee, and while running my own daycare from my home. Additionally, I have years of experience with before and after- school programs, including menu creation and food preparation according to CA government standards; and yard duty.

Though I am successfully raising my own teenagers at this point, the bulk of my professional experience consists of caring for infants, preschool and grade school children.

I am an avid cook and take pride in my ability to create nutritious meals that satisfy the picky palettes of children.

I am currently a Mom for my teenagers, however, my children are responsible high school students moving quickly toward adulthood, freeing up much of my time. I would like to spend my spare time in the field of childcare, especially with infants or toddlers. My experience being employed by schools and day cares, and running my own daycare, has prepared me for longer-term relationships with families and children (including the possibility of being a nanny); but simple short term babysitting opportunities are also welcome.
