--I am a freelance writer and am also affiliated with a local babysitting agency (most business is in the summer, but I also work the occasional weekend during the winter too).
--I have been babysitting (mixture of professionally and casually) for about 17 years: I'm 28 years old, so I got started young!
--I have worked with a wide variety of families from all walks of life and appreciate diversity (I come from a multi-cultural background myself)!
--I have cared for children ranging in ages from newborns (as young as 1-week-old) to middle schoolers.
--I typically work with a max. of three children at a time, but a lot of factors go into that, I'm very flexible!
--I do not have current CPR certification; however, I have been certified and re-certified a number of times over the years (for adults and children).
--I have a great knowledge of basic first aid and have two experienced RNs on speed dial (my cousin and best friend)!
--I hold a BA in English Literature
--I am very patient, think well on my feet, love kids, and my care philosophy is simple: giving respect gets you respect and a child can never be loved by too many people!
