I am a full-time Music Education student at Kentucky Wesleyan college. In a year, I plan to move to the DC area and work with high school choirs. Since college is so demanding, I do not have a full-time job during the year. However, since I was 15 I have had a secured job at the yacht club. I began there life guarding, giving private lessons and swimming on their team. When I turned 18, I started coaching rather than swimming for the team and continue to do so today. I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old. After working at the club I have been babysitting many families every summer for 7 years. I am comfortable with kids of all ages and I have watched kids of all ages. Out of the families I watch most regularly one family consists of 2 boys ages 7 and 5 and 2 girls ages 4 and 2. Most of the families I babysit are around those ages because of who I meet at the pool. I have always enjoyed being around kids and as an educator. I cannot wait to teach children for my career.
