Connie watched our infant in our home during the summer of 2012. She also took care of our dogs and house while we went on vacation. We really enjoyed working with Connie and wish we could have continued using her as our babysitter. Unfortunately, due to my unpredictable work schedule, we were unable to figure out a consistent spot for her. While she cared for our son, she continually updated me on the progress of their day, remembered what times she fed him and what foods, and kept track of his diaper changes. Our baby lit up with joy when she showed up to our home and she would read books, swing outside, crawl around on the floor to play with him, take him on walks, feed/water the dogs, and she kept the house spotless. We were sad we could not use her consistently each week and plan to continue to have her watch our son when we have date nights and to care for our dogs/house when we need to go out of town.

Connie has been our nanny since August 2011 and we love her. We use her part time each week and find her to be reliable, and great with our kids. Our son calls her "my Connie" :). She frequently takes them to the park or to the library, and they enjoy their time with Connie. She's always willing to help us out in a pinch, and keeps our home tidy after the kids have played all day. Connie has been great learning our daughter's diabetic needs, and we have not had any issues with her whatsoever.

I was quite disappointed when Connie chose to be a no call, no show to our in-person interview. I had a great phone interview with her and based on her references thought she was going to be the one we would hire. However, she did not show to our interview. A couple of days later she did make a phone call and email to me explaining why she didn't make it to the interview or call to cancel. She explained this was a one-time thing and I truly hope it was. I understand things happen but was still sad that this is the experience I had with Connie. I cannot recommend for or against Connie as I had a good phone interview with her but no experience in person with her. I hope this was a one-time thing and that whomever finds her as their care provider has the wonderful experience her references talk of. Connie, good luck in your job search.
