January 5, 2013 To whom it may concern: This letter serves to highly recommend Ms. Colleen R. as a baby-sitter or nanny. Ms. R. worked as our full-time babysitter from June 2012 thru January 2013, and we felt so lucky to have such a professional and caring person taking care of our 6-month old little girl. Miss Colleen, as we came call her, worked for our family Monday thru Friday from 8:30-3:30, in order for me to finish my degree and graduate. Both of which, I would not have been able to achieve without all of her dedication, hard work, and support. During this time, our little girl adored her time with her babysitter. She looked forward to her daily walks, story time, and play-time with Ms. Colleen and my husband and I greatly respected and valued her consistency, punctuality, and positive nature. Ms. Colleen was extremely supportive of our parenting style and was able to match our approach with loving consistently. Her ability to do this gave my husband and I immediate piece of mind and assured us that our family would run smoothly day and night, during a very stressful time. Further, Ms. Colleen was an extremely professional caregiver. During her time with our family, Ms. Colleen was always punctual and she always put the needs of our daughter first. In addition, she also provided us with daily detailed notes, which allowed me to monitor our daughter s appetite, sleep patterns, and developmental milestones. Ms. Colleen was always sure to write me about any concerns, but she also included cute happenings from our daughter s day and these always made us smile. Lastly, Ms. Colleen greeted us every day with a warm smile and her positive nature. This carried over to her care of our daughter as she continuously had her laughing and smiling. It is easy to see when your child likes someone and our little one hit it off immediately with Ms. Colleen. In addition, Ms. Colleen was eager to help our household run smoothly in any way she could; namely, she helped us with laundry, dishes, bed-making, and light dinner preparations. Unfortunately, our need for full-time child-care was short term, as I will be taking over full-time care of our daughter, but we will ALL miss Ms. Colleen. As a result, we offer the highest possible recommendation to Colleen R. From our experience, Colleen R. is extremely reliable, trust-worthy and in tune with the requirements of taking care of a young child.
