I am a mom and grandmother that has worked in many aspects of child care. I have had home day care and I have worked in a child care school. I have also been in need of people to care for my children so I know how important this job is. I will not over extend the amount of children I care for because the children need all of me.

I nurture, teach, and care for children. I play an important role in children's development by caring for them. In addition to attending to children's health, safety, and nutrition, I organize activities and implement curricula that stimulate children's physical, emotional, intellectual, and social growth. I help children explore individual interests, develop talents and independence, build self-esteem, learn how to get along with others, and prepare them for success.

I bathe, dress, and feed children; supervise their play; wash their clothes; and clean their rooms. I may put children to bed and wake them, read to them, involve them in educational games, take them for doctors' visits, and discipline them. I prepare bottles and change diapers.
