of Experience
I have been working with a wide age range of children since I was about 15 years old. I was an assistant volleyball coach at my old grade school, St. Edwards School when I was a freshman in high school. The summer going into my sophomore year I started working at a summer program at my high school, Seattle Preparatory School called Ready, Set, Go. I worked with children from the ages of 11 to 13. My duties were to supervise the kids during the program and organize activities for them everyday. I worked for Ready, Set, Go until the summer of 2009. Also, in August 2007 I was hired at a retirement home, Exeter House working as a dinner server until July of 2008. In addition, this past year, I became a volunteer coach for my alumni grade school for girls in the 5th and 6th grade. I truly enjoy working with kids of all ages. I love helping them grow as people. It is so inspiring to be a part of a child's life journey and just being there to laugh with them and be a friend. I never realized how much you can impact someone's life just by being a part of their lives, until I started working with kids.
