For 6 summers I worked at Camp Vesper Point in Chattanooga, TN where I was on work crew, a counselor, as well as a cook. I was responsible for 6-10 kids for 6 days 24 hours a day. I had to make sure they were eating well, had all of their clothes for the day, as well as make sure they took their medicine at the appropriate times. We also learned the kids allergies and other things in a report from the parents to make sure the kids had the best week possible.

Last summer I worked at the North River YMCA in Chattanooga. I was responsible from anywhere between 10-40 kids a day. I worked for 4-8 hours a day depending on the week. While working at the YMCA, I had to create games and entertain the children for 3-4 hours before their lunch time which I helped serve. In the afternoon, we had to help change the kids for the pool and watch them while they were swimming for safety reasons.

I also have a 6-year-old nephew who have watched on countless occasions from when he was a baby.
