Hello! To start things off--my name is Christin. I'm currently living in the Yuma Foothills area near Fortuna Road and have reliable transportation so I can commute if needed. I currently posses a valid Nursing Assistant certificate AND license, valid CPR and First Aid credentials, and a food handler's / food preparation card. I also have a mother in the area who is a nurse and a grandfather who is a local pediatrician so I'm educated further on medicines, first aid, and emergency procedures. They're also a call away if needed.

My experience with children includes in-home experience caring for friend's and family's children, non-profit work with Saddles of Joy which is a therapeutic horseback riding program for special needs children, and employment at the Army base's child development center on YPG. Any proof of documentation and employment history is always available as well as copies of excellent reference letters including contact information.

I am experienced to work with all age groups from childcare starting as early as newborns to adult care ending with the elderly. I'm comfortable working with several individuals at one time--Infants (up to 4), Pre-Toddlers and Toddlers (up to 6 or 7), Preschool and/or Kindergarten (up to 10 or 12), anything beyond Kindergarten doesn't have need for a limit.

When it comes to children--volunteering out at Saddles of Joy I've become comfortable with older child age groups from Preschool age and on. Working for the child development center out at YPG I was working mostly with infants and pre-toddlers, and caring for friend's and family's children. I cared for a variety of children ranaging between infant ages to middle school ages.

I'm flexible when it comes to scheduling as well as pay. I'm up for negotiation and making any accommodations to fit your family's needs. I'm also willing to travel if needed, help with household chores, provide cooking and meal preparation, take children on "field trips" (i.e. park, walks, or anything permissible), etc.
