As a high-school student, I babysat for a 4-year-old boy in the Upper East Side for 3 hours/day (after school), three days a week for one year. During my four years in high school, I also tutored high-school students in Biology, Mathematics, and English on a rolling basis. Two summers ago, I privately tutored a 9-year-old Taiwanese girl to help improve her English--2 hours/day, 5 days a week. I have worked as a teacher's assistant at a Summer Day Camp for two full summers--once for a Kindergarten class of 15 children, once for a sixth grade class of 13 students. Additionally, I have experience as a volunteer overseas English teacher for one month in Taiwan, and as a "Children's Ministry" participant in a local church in Tijuana, Mexico for two weeks.
