Main duties consist of: assisting in providing and leading planned activities for children, maintain control of and accounts for whereabouts and safety of children, help establish a program environment that promotes positive child interactions with other children and adults, help prepare, arrange, and maintain indoor and outdoor activity areas and materials to accommodate daily activities, interact with children using approved child guidance development techniques, supervise children during daily schedule of indoor and outdoor activities, promote and model safety, fitness, health, and nutrition practices, help arrange/serve appropriate snacks/meals, observe a program participant for signs that may indicate abuse/neglect and reports as directed, note special instructions provided by parents, assist in maintaining program participation data, and completing required daily reports.
