I have been caring for children consistently since age 12, and worked as a preschool/daycare teacher for just under two years. While working at the preschool I cared for children from ages 6 months to 5 years, and up to 8 children at a time. I formed fantastic bonds with all of my children, as well as with their families...and when I was forced to leave the position in order to go to school, it was very hard to leave them behind. I loved the job, I loved the children I worked with. I am now a student at UCONN studying child psychology, and hope to one day open a daycare center of my own!
