I have been babysitting children since I was 12 years of age. I have also worked at a day care for five years. I was the head teacher in the infant room, 1-year-old room, and the 2-year-old room while I was there. I also helped out on the preschool floor when they needed it. I left my job at the day care May 2012 and became a nanny that same month for the summer before I student teach this fall. I am still in college working on my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education. I will graduate December 2012. Since I am still in school at this time I will not be available everyday all day. Also since I am in schools I have had the opportunity to observe different day cares and classrooms. I love working with children because I love to see them grow and experience new things everyday. When a young child is able to crawl, walk, feed themselves or just do things on their own, that smile of success make my day. A child's laughter and the way they can cuddle is the best cure to a bad day.
