I grew up in a family of 13 children being the 3rd from the oldest. Needless to say, I spent a lot of time helping with the other children. I started babysitting for my mother's friends at 16 and had my first child when I was 19 years old. That is when I first started an in home daycare. I went back to working full-time outside the home and decided it's not for me. I love children and the psychological stimulation I get when working with them along with the instant gratification from teaching them new things, from how to correctly pronounce a specific word to watching them create and learn on their own with the crafts I give them.
