I am currently employed with a family that I have been with for the last six years. The children are now 5 and 7 years old and will be attending school full-time in the fall. I love children and enjoy watching and helping them learn new things. I come from a very artsy and crafty family. I almost always have some "do it yourself" project/craft in the works. I love being outdoors and am an expert hop-scotcher.
In my personal life, I am 31 years old, and married. I graduated high school in 1999 and attended some college mostly taking early childhood education classes. I was CPR certified but have not kept current. I am a certified scuba diver and an excellent swimmer. As a teenager, I worked in daycare centers for 4 years until I was asked to work for a family who attended the center. I was with them until their boys went to school and then was referred to my current employer by them. I have cooked meals for the children, done light cleaning, ran errands, driven to play dates and whatever else was needed. I have been lucky enough to maintain relationships with the families I have worked for long after me employment has ended and still occasionally babysit for them.
I am hoping to find another loving family to assist starting in the fall. I am willing to start sooner if needed. I know summer help can be hard to find. I am able to provide references on request. Thanks for your interest and hope to get to know you in the near future.
