I hold a degree in Elementary Education with endorsements in Language Arts, Social Studies, and ELL (English Language Learners) from Western Illinois University. After graduating in 2008, I spent three years as a substitute while looking for a teaching job, but the economy being what it is I struggled to find a job. I currently work for a staffing agency, but have found that the hardest part about working here is knowing that my heart has always been in helping make tomorrow better. While I staff during the day, I also tutor students at night. For most of my students, English is not their first language. Regardless, I am able to use my background in order to provide them with the tools needed in order to be successful in their everyday classroom lives.
