I have a B. A. in Psychology Education and am a member of Psy Chi National Honor Society. I have taken some Master's level classes focused on Children's Literacy. I am a certified Foster parent in the state of Delaware. This means I am CPR certified, passed fingerprint and criminal background checks, and my home is safety certified for all ages. I have a 3-month-old foster daughter we are hoping to adopt. My husband and I informally adopted one of my former students so we have an older daughter and we have a 5-year-old grandson, whom I helped raise from 17 months old to 5 years old. In addition, I took care of a family friend's infant daughter in my home from 2 months old to 7 months old, until I went back to finish my degree. I also taught high school for 5 years. I often worked in the church nursery, taught Sunday School and led the youth group, ages ranging from 7th to 12th grades.
