First and foremost, I always have fun with the kids I am caring for. It is important for kids to find joy in almost every part of their day, and I love being able to help them achieve that. Whether it's eating, playing in the park, going to an event, or just playing at home with toys or their imagination. There is a way to have fun with everything.
In addition, I am a full-time developmental preschool assistant. I am always looking for ways in which children can learn through their everyday activities and play. I absolutely love helping kids open their eyes and mind to the wide world.
Along with fun, play, and learning, I find ways to also set my expectations and structure with the kids so that I can build a solid relationship with them. I spend every day teaching, playing, and helping kids and it isn't any different while I am babysitting, except maybe a little bit more playtime.
