I am a 26-year-old senior in college. I am majoring in history and minoring in Spanish. When I complete this degree I would like to go back to school for elementary education. I realized that teaching is the career for me. I love to work with children. I have over 10 years of child care experience. I worked as a mother's helper, baby sitter, teacher's aide and after school teacher. I believe that children learn best through play and consistency. I use the tools of imagination, creativity and repetition. Every moment in a child's life can be an opportunity to incorporate not just fun but also education. I believe in giving children a nurturing environment while giving clear guidelines and expectations. I am punctual, I like to stick to schedules that parents give to me and I make myself accessible to the parent the whole time I am watching their children.
