I have worked with children from birth to 12 years of age for over 10 years. Whether I was babysitting for family, friends, or neighbors or working at a kids camp for 4 summers and within churches, I usually jump at the chance to be around kids! Most recently I have babysat for my 4-year-old cousin once a week (at minimum) for the past 2 years (the past year has been limited due to my college enrollment out of state) where I would take her to the park, cook/bake with and for her, read and play with her and even helped with her learning (she loves when I read to her in Spanish). I could be having a bad day but time spent with a child will instantly change that; they make me laugh and appreciate the small things in life. They also get me more excited for parenthood in the future.
